Gold Purity

Few metals capture the heart like gold. As the most malleable of all precious metals, gold is an excellent choice when crafting designs with very intricate details. It’s resistant to rust, tarnish and corrosion.

Karat indicates purity, or how much of the metal in a piece of jewellery is gold. 18K Gold is an alloy of 75% gold with other metals to make it strong and durable for everyday wear. Each piece of iNOVA Jewellery is hallmarked with ‘18k’ karat weight.

Yellow-Gold

Yellow Gold

A mixture of silver, copper, pure gold (and a trace of zinc) gives yellow gold jewellery its rich shine.

White Gold

To give white gold its modern silvery-white colour, pure gold is often alloyed with a mixture of nickel, or palladium and silver. White gold also needs to be coated with platinum or rhodium to improve whiteness and add durability and shine. White gold jewellery will occasionally need to be re-dipped after the coating wears away.

Rose-Gold

Rose Gold

The romantic pink hue of rose gold jewellery is created by combining pure gold with copper. The more copper in the alloy, the rosier the hue.

925 Sterling Silver

Silver has been valued for centuries. Pure silver is too soft to be used in jewellery making, so it’s mixed with copper or other metal to create Sterling Silver, consisting of 92.5% silver. iNOVA sells real, solid, and the most beautiful 925 Sterling Silver jewellery.
